Hi,

I've just finished tagging RC2 for the first release (0.1.0) - WOOT WOOT!!
        The tag is v0.1.0-RC2.

The details about where to get the source, how to build it, test it,
install it, configure it and use it can be found on the project web
site: http://linux-ha.org/source-doc/assimilation/html/_getting_started.html

I need good feedback from you folks on this, so we get it to a state
where it installs correctly and does what it's supposed to do.

It seems to build usable .deb files just using cpack (lintian still has
a number of complaints). AFAIK, cpack doesn't yet produce usable RPMs.

Jamie Nguyen has an RPM spec file for Fedora that you can find here:
    http://jamielinux.fedorapeople.org/assimilation/assimilation-cma.spec

Jamie is pretty much overwhelmed with school (as he should be). If he
plays hooky enough to produce a set of SRPMs for 0.1.0-RC2, I'm sure
he'll let us know. But you can produce your own RPMs with is spec file.

What I need from the community:
    Install it
Play with it - and give your feedback on the concepts its built around
Tell the mailing list the troubles you run into so we can fix them
for RC3
Suggest queries you'd like to see us include in the sample query section
Port and test it on other platforms (ARM Linux?, Windows?)
Suggest features you'd like to see in the next release
