What version of Debian or Ubuntu is this? Are other distros available? Do you have the earlier output when you had grind.sh enabled? I suspect it's just some stupid glib not freeing anything that it owns -- but it also could have crashed - given that I'm trying to get glib to free things before I exit that it doesn't document how to free ;-).
