Just wanted to note that I'll probably be splitting the Spec in two at some point (probably not until I decide to import it into the official Fedora/EPEL repositories). At the moment it can be used to build packages for both Fedora 18 and RHEL 6, but the conditional logic to do this makes the Spec confusing to read. Having said that, projects I've seen provide their own RPMS usually put even more conditional logic in their Spec to make it build on every platform possible (eg, rhel + fedora + opensuse etc) and every supported version of those platforms. So the Spec I'll maintain in the official Fedora/EPEL repos will be split, but here you may want a "one-spec-to-rule-them-all" approach which will probably make things easier to maintain, especially if supporting many platforms.
