That would be me to help with this :-). I have some ideas from things
I've seen in the past.
I'm going to guess that during these tests that it seemed to be finished
when it got stuck?
I would further assume that it was consuming no CPU time?
What OS and version of OS are these tests in?
I would guess that it is stuck in some kind of a semaphore trying to
shut down the glib mainloop thread infrastructure...
I've seen that before. I have some better ideas about how to deal with
it than I had the last time I saw this problem.
If you can confirm these details, I'll take a look at the "usual suspect".

Hello,
Been trying to figure out why my test hangs here for a while but not
making much progress, maybe someone can help?
I'm building using travis-ci.org <http://travis-ci.org> (see links below
for full output). Basically it hangs during the valgrind test but this
only happens with travis, not on my desktop or on my test VM. During the
test in travis, it stalls for > 10 minutes, causing travis to abort the
rest of the run. Elsewhere, it takes a lot less time to finish all the
valgrind tests so I'm not sure why it gets stuck.
With a separate CI system, called drone.io <http://drone.io>, the same
thing happens. It gets stuck at the valgrind tests too. Initially, I
thought it was some sort of sudo issue but it runs other commands with
sudo just fine (no prompting for passwords)
Happy to provide extra details to try to solve this problem.
