I wrote, tested and committed the code for "network" transactions.
The code for sending around configuration info for nanoprobes when they
first start was converted to use JSON for the configuration data. It
predated the ConfigContext object being able to be constructed directly
from JSON.
I simplified this last code as preparation for adding database updates
to our transactions.
