I gotta say I'm really jazzed about pressing a button and having all
those builds crank out - sort of on a "the more the merrier" theory ;-)
And SOMEBODY ELSE MADE IT WORK!!!
JC: Can you adjust your sets of automated builds for Ubuntu according
to Clint's suggestions?
I suspect 10.04 will have similar problems. Can you look into that and
see how bad it is?

It would make some sense to support 10.04, as it still has another year +
4 months of security support, but otherwise I'd just focus on the last
LTS (12.04) + latest stable (13.10 currently). 14.04, coming in April,

glib - not with the version of Ubuntu.
There are other supported OSes out there which use old versions of
glib. I know people using RHEL5, and it has even older versions of glib
(which have other problems not yet solved).
On the other hand, that's kind of a cover for my not knowing ;-)
The changes I had to make to fix it were only in the test code, not in
the mainline code. It was a few hours, but not that many...
