Responsible for the Oracle Database Administrator and participates in the design, creation, and maintenance of computerized databases with One to Three years of experience. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with management to develop database strategies to support company needs. Consults with and advises users on access to various databases. Works directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Knowledge of working in SAP environment, Oracle RAC, and middleware WebLogic background. 30% Database administrators are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Oracle database. 30% Support and development of applications. 10% Duties include performing backups, recoveries, and installations. 10% Database performance tuning, tuning applications. 10% Database monitoring and operating system configurations. 10% Assisting in the logical and physical database and providing general support to users. This position is governed by decisions made experience and knowledge level of Oracle DBA to support or fix issues or task. Working with HISNA employees on support and project related tasks, Interface with software vendors for support and new technologies. Education: BS / BA degree preferred or equivalent experience. One to Three years Oracle Operational/Production DBA. One to Three years Oracle Operational/Production DBA. One to Three years Oracle DBA, and PL/SQL. ERP/CRM Apps, data warehousing or other Oracle products. (Very Important) Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills. WebLogic Experience Required Must be able to use computer keyboard & move around office. Must be able to see or hear & communicate in written and oral form. Experienced on using Windows XP operating systems.
