Support system development process of the Eq Derivs C# based risk management platform, LOTS (Listed Options Trade System) which is currently the Equity Derivatives Flow Options risk management tool globally in Equity Derivatives • Develop requirements that directly contribute to the efficiency, product innovation, risk management and revenue generation of the US Equity Derivative business • Work as part of a team that is iteratively developing capabilities in conjunction with Front Office and Quant Strategies • Support the existing LOTS application and components that have been developed to date The successful candidate will join the Equity Derivatives IT team, where their primary role will be to support software development of regulatory enhancements and other improvements for the LOTS risk management system. The candidate will be operating within a development team and will be individually responsible for the deliverables they will work on. The role requires self motivation, enthusiasm and good communication skills as they will interact with other IT support groups (LOTS Support, LOTS Quality Assurance etc) on a daily basis. The candidate will be responsible for testing and smooth roll-out to the production environment of the requirements and enhancements that they are responsible for. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • LOTS System Development Support for monthly release cycles including unit testing • Assist LOTS Support team on various production issues raised in JIRA for key LOTS stakeholders (Trading, Product Control, Strategic Risk Management etc) Projects often have an aggressive delivery schedule, so it may be necessary to work extended hours during certain phases. Essential • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics disciplines • Strong knowledge of C # and object-oriented (OO) design and development • Strong (8-10 years) of software development experience using Microsoft technologies (.NET) • Server and Client side programming experience.
