This position is for a developer with RPG experience on the AS/400 to support API development for DPI Order Entry and Trouble Ticket/Plant applications to expose native DPI data and functionality to other system clients. The ideal candidate would have programming background developing APIs in RPGIV, RPGLE, and CL, with previous telecom and/or DPI specific experience. Summary Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. Designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications. The technical skills include the ability to apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required. 5-7 years experience required. Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Understanding of WPS as well as SOAP-based web services is required.
