*1. Junior Programmer* The Junior Programmer shall have the following experience and technical skills: - Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years experience in lieu of degree. - Two (2) + years experience in Java. - Two (2) + years in programming with HTML and web design and development. - Experience in usage, design, development and deployment of SOAP or REST based web services. - Experience working in a scrum-based agile development environment, including teams that require programmers to frequently work on each others' code - Experience in development and deployment on JBoss application stack (JBossAS, SOA-P, ESB, BRMS, etc), Sun/Oracle GlassFish, Apache Tomcat or similar technologies. - Experience in Relational Databases such as MySQL and Oracle and in writing SQL queries. - Experience with XML and XML parsing technologies - Experience with version control procedures in an environment that uses IBM products ClearCase, ClearQuest, BuildForge or Subversion, Maven, Hudson, and Nexus for continuous integration. - Experience with other programming languages, preferably in JavaScript, C, C++. 2. *Intermediate Programmers* In addition to the technical skills of the Junior Programmer, the Intermediate Programmer shall have the following experience and technical skills: - Five (5)+ years experience in Object oriented software design and development with four (4)+ years experience in Java. - Three (3)+ years of experience in usage, design, development and deployment of SOAP or REST based web services. - Three (3)+ years experience in Relational Database (MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle), SQL programming for middleware and backend, database driven applications running on Linux-based (RHEL) and Windows operating systems. - Two (2)+ years experience programming with Hibernate or similar ORM (iBatis, Toplink, JPA). - Experience working in a scrum-based agile development environment, including teams that require programmers to frequently work on each others' code - Experience in development and deployment on JBoss application stack (JBossAS, SOA-P, ESB, BRMS, etc). - Experience with XML and XML parsing technologies - Experience with version control procedures in an environment that uses IBM products ClearCase, ClearQuest, BuildForge or Subversion, Maven, Hudson, and Nexus for continuous integration. - Experience in programmable graphics tools such as GraphViz and yFiles - Experience with other programming languages, preferably in JavaScript, C, C++. * * 3. *Senior Level Programmer* In addition to the technical skills of the Junior and Intermediate Programmer, the Senior Level Programmer shall have the following experience and technical skills: - Eight (8) + years experience in Object oriented software design and development with a five (5)+ years in Java. - Five (5) + years experience in development and deployment on JBoss application stack (JBossAS, SOA-P, ESB, BRMS, etc). - Five (5)+ years experience in Relational Database (MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle), SQL programming for middleware and backend, database driven applications running on Linux-based (RHEL) and Windows operating systems. - Three (3)+ years developing applications and application-modules within service-oriented architectures - Three (3)+ years experience using data models to analyze and solve complex data problems - Three (3) + years experience writing automated testing scripts for unit testing and integration testing. - Experience in continuous integration tools such as Build Forge, Hudson/Jenkins. *Project 2: Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) * 1. *Intermediate Java and C Programmers* The Intermediate Java and C Programmer shall have the following experience and technical skills: - Seven (7)+ years experience in Java and J2EE Object oriented software design. - 7+ years of experience in C/C++, ANSI C, Oracle Pro*C and TCP/IP socket programming. - 5+ years developing applications and application-modules within service-oriented architectures. - 5+ years of experience with XML and XML parsing technologies. - 5+ years of experience with designing, developing, and consuming WSDL-based and RESTful web services. - 5+ years of experience of working with IBM Rational ClearCase /build forge - for configuration management and continuous integration, and RequisitePro for requirements management. - 5+ years of experience of working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and HP-UX operating systems, Microsoft Windows environment, and Netscape IPlanet and Sun One servers. - Experience with infrastructures associated with high-performance, high-availability web-service infrastructures. - Two (2)+ years of experience in usage, design, development and deployment of SOAP or REST based web services. - Two (2)+ years developing applications and application-modules within service-oriented architectures - Two (2)+ years experience working in a scrum-based agile development environment, including teams that require programmers to frequently work on each others' code - Experience in continuous integration tools such as Build Forge, Hudson/Jenkins. - Experience of USPTO Search client tools (EAST and WEST) usages and services. - Experience of working with various data exchange specification specific to USPTO viz. WIPO ST33 and ST36. - Experience using SGML, XML, and Mimosa for foreign document exchange format. - Experience working with TIFF and PDF image file format. - Experience with infrastructures associated with high-performance, high-availability web-service infrastructures.
