Job Description: Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and support of Directors Desk and related future applications Translate business requirements into well-designed and documented software components based on Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL) Work closely with business, infrastructure support, and development teams, and vendors located worldwide Provide major contributions to the overall architecture of Directors Desk with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance Participate in all phases of the lifecycle of software application development with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality, code reviews and implementation Must have skills: 7+ years .NET 4.0, ASP.NET (C#), N-Tier development, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), XML-based web services Past or current experience with legacy ASP and VBScript Proven ability to conceptualize and develop standards-compliant, cross-browser web applications utilizing Web 2.0 technologies, jQuery, AJAX. Fluency in MS SQL Server 2008/2012, DB architecture/design, SQL development Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components Desired skills: Strong (2-3 years) experience with MVC 2.0/3.0, OOPs, ORM Framework, Dependency Injection Framework Experience with developing service architectures utilizing WCF Experienced in TDD (Test Driven Development) using MSTest & TFS 2010. Experienced in automated deployment tools such as MSBuild and Continuous Integration. Experience building secure web applications a plus user authentication, role-based access control, 3-tier architectures, DB/file encryption, input validation techniques Familiarity with well-known security vulnerabilities and ability to address such vulnerabilities.
