Job Description:
Job Responsibilities: Create Automation framework with QTP; Functional Test
automation scripts and regression suite.? Serve as a liaison between Manual
Testing team and Development team.? Drive test deliverables on a project
basis being responsive to schedule and quality requirements.? Create and
review test plans across multiple projects, using risk-based approach.?
Review test cases and other testing artifacts created by other team members
for completeness and accuracy.? Analyze and manage software defect reports,
participate in defect meetings.? Contribute to test data strategy and
create complex, reusable test data sets.? Troubleshoot defects or
environment issues and facilitate remediation.? Provide guidance to the
team based on management direction.? Escalate issues which cannot be
resolved by the team.? Provide effective communication regarding
accomplishments, issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to
planRequired Skills and/or Expe

Skill and Experience Details:
-->Test Automation(L3)-Should be capable to understandthe underlying
technology on the various automation tools.Should be capable to evaluate
the best tool to the client.Should be capable to create the required
automationframework to the client.

-->Web Testing(L3)-Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations,
GUI features etc. Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will
be an added advantage

-->Application Testing(L3)-Should be able to differentiate the different
testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression
testingand should be capable to perform these tests with the help of
ready-test cases.Should understand Test Plans, Requirement
TraceabilityMatrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.Should be able to do metrics
analysis and reliabilityanalysis effectively with DFA tool.

-->QTP(L4)-Demonstrates the knowledge of automation architecture which
comprise oftechnical and functional framework. Should be able to design and
developtechnical and functional framework. Able to Identification and
development ofreusable user defined functions which comprise of application
specificfunctions and utility functions. Should be able to code and achieve
functionalframework for regression. Should be able to integrate and manage
regressionsuite effectively with new releases. Should be able to customize
executionresults. Should adhere to automation process compliance before
delivery. verygood in VB scripting
