*Job Requirements*
8+ years experience in engineering & implementation of Enterprise
Monitoring Systems, predominantly CA Toolsets
4+ experience in developing scripts or tools to maximize benefits of
Enterprise Monitoring Systems
Detailed engineering and implementation knowledge of one or more modules of
CA Enterprise Class monitoring tools. Expertise with one or more of the
following, Nimsoft , Spectrum, CA MOM, Service View etc preferred
Expert knowledge of SNMP required
Strong technical skills in system administration of Windows 2008 or Red Hat
Linux
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Monitoring metrics and best practices
Experience with Enterprise logging tools and best practices
Experience with TCP/IP and core LAN/WAN principles
Proficiency with one or more of the following preferred: Windows Powershell
scripting, Linux shell scripting, Java, Java Script, Visual Basic, or Perl
Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business
/ systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional
specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery required
Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to
resolve issue
Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software
Strong communication skills: writing / documentation, work with team to
coordinate and collaborate
Project coordination and/or project management experience desired
Expert ability to work independently and manage one s time
Based Local in Irving,TX
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant
field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Individual has indepth knowledge in any one technological or industry
practice area and overview of 2-3 other areas. Individual handles solution
definition/fitment for a small sized project with a medium complexity. In
case of domain consultant individual requires high level of Business
Analysis skills and may have 7-8 Client reporting into the individual. In
case of Technical Consultant the individual is a subject matter expert and
may work with Functional/Technical Leads and Architects to contribute in
solution definition.

in a chosen area/function ~ Debugs software products through the use of
systematic tests to develop, applyand maintain quality standards for
company products. Develops and executessoftware test plans. Analyzes and
writes test standards and procedures.Maintains documentation of test
results to assist in debugging and modificationof software. Analyzes test
results to ensure existing functionality andrecommends corrective action.
Consults with development engineers in resolutionof problems. Works on
problems of limited scope, through usage of standardprogramming concepts
and principles. Works under high supervision/ guidancewith frequent review
of accomplished objectives. Expected to learn on the jobtowards developing
domain knowledge along with technical/ proprietary skills. ~ Should be
capable of handling end-to-end delivery of a fixed price developmentor
migration project which meets the defined scope, schedule, cost and
qualityobjectives. Indicative Competency: Awareness of project estimation
techniques;Knowledge of MS Project and project planning/tracking tools for
projectplanning and tracking; Ensures adherence to quality processes and
metricscollection procedures; Ability to compile project status reports
from multiplesources; Ability to handle risks and issues in project and
communicate these tocustomer; Ability to allocate tasks to resources based
on skill and experience;Experienced in sharing and reuse of knowledge;
Coaches/mentors team members.
