*Interview mode: Phone hire* *JOB DESCRIPTIO:-* *This is a hands-on role that works both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * *You must be delivery-focused, and build solutions to support new business processes as well as streamline existing business applications.* *Responsibilities* •Perform analysis, design, construction and installation tasks in accordance with development methodology and standards. •Work with Lead Developer and Business Analyst to translate business requirements into practical software solutions and meet stated objectives. •Effectively use technical support tools, utilities and commands. •Understand and apply development methodology. Complete deliverables required for each phase. •Perform quality assurance functions (unit test, integration test) on developed components to ensure compliance with established requirements and design specifications. •Document solution design and other related documentation with due regard for clarity and level of detail. •Present oral progress reports. •As required, review the work performed by other project members to ensure that design specifications and quality are met. •Provide information to technical writer as needed. •Work with Support group to debug and repair problems discovered by internal or external clients. •Analyze the nature of software failures and incorporate improvements into future development. •Work across technical areas and with other teams to ensure that the best new technologies are investigated and selected for use. *Qualifications and Education Requirements* *•BA/BS in Computer Sciences or related field, or equivalent qualification.* *•5-7 years’ experience in software development in Web 2.0 and similar UI technologies.* *•Recent experience building Java/Web applications using one or more client-side JavaScript framework/library such as AngularJS or Ember or Backbone is a must.* *•Expert-level HTML/CSS and JavaScript skills.* •SQL experience and knowledge of Oracle and/or other databases is a huge plus. •Experience with the entire software lifecycle using various methodologies such as Iterative, Agile/Scrum. •Proficiency in the development environments/IDEs, distributed source control system (GIT), unit-testing and issue tracking tools. •Experience with participating in code reviews and mentoring team members. •Ability to effectively express oneself verbally and to present oral progress reports on a one-on-one basis. •Ability to compose business reports and documents, including the ability to express abstract concepts and technical information in concise written form. •Ability to summarize technical concepts and terms. Ability to use and understand basic business concepts. •Ability to interview others to gather information. •Ability to work with internal and external contacts in a professional and diplomatic manner, always projecting a professional corporate image. •Ability to handle multiple tasks and the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands, occasionally on short notice. •Flexibility to respond to overtime requirements as needed. •Ability to make sound judgments and solve problems independently and creatively while knowing when to bring situations to the attention of management, along with proposed solutions; understand and effectively utilize “team consulting”. •Demonstrates self-motivation, resourcefulness and independent action (rather than always awaiting instructions and following a request to the letter).
