*Experience Required*
*- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or a related discipline *
*- 4 to 5 Years of experience in Facets Testing, (or other claims systems).
*
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
*The candidate will play a Test lead or Tester role in the Facets upgrade
to 5.X, or other systems as required*.
The individual must have good analytical and technical skills coupled with
the ability to mentor effectively.
*- Work with developers, subject matter experts and project management team
to develop testing process for IT projects, including:*
*- Understand requirements of project, priorities, risks and testing
protocols*
- Requirements analysis to determine which assumptions of a design are
testable and with which parameters those tests work.
- Test planning, including feasibility analysis to determine which
scenarios are most likely to occur and how many permutations should be
tested; test strategy, test plan, test bed creation.
- Test development, including procedures, functions, test scenarios, test
cases, test datasets, test scripts to use in testing software.
- Test execution
- Test reporting, analysis and recommendations
- Test Closure, capturing the key outputs, lessons learned, results, logs.
Documents related to the project are archived and used as a reference for
future projects.
- *Organize relevant stages of testing for each project (Unit Testing,
Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Security
Testing, Performance Testing etc.)*
- Develop and ensure quality standards through all stages of product
development life cycle.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects with full evidence, such as
functionality errors, inconsistencies in software program functions, file
outputs, user interface forms, content, and system usability issues.
- Logs, tracks and verifies resolution of software and specification
defects.
