*Visa : USC / GC* *Interview Mode: Phone hire* *Rate : $50/hr max* *Job Description:* Looking for a *Senior QA Analyst, BIDW* to join Corporate Information Technoloy team. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of software with the highest levels of quality. Role requires not only tactical delivery of traditional QA artifacts, but *collaboration with Product Management, Business Analysts, and the development team* in order to ensure Quality Assurance principals are being followed . Works under the direction of the QA Lead, and proactively and collaboratively takes part in all testing related activities in order to drive overall software quality from inception to production. The successful candidate will be expected to accurately communicate and *report on testing status, and escalate issues and risks as appropriate*. A thorough understanding of *data warehouse concepts and experience testing data warehouse projects end to end is required*. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* •Perform complex testing tasks including *test planning, test case development, scheduling and test execution* to assure that developed products meet design specifications and are within specified quality limits and standards •Collaborate and partner closely with project managers, development leads, and product management teams to ensure that software is tested to the highest quality •Review *Business Requirements documents (BRDs)* and User Stories for ambiguity and testability •Provide detailed and accurate *Test Case development and Test Case execution estimates* •Adhere to the QA departments Testing Processes and Governance model •Capture testing metrics throughout the Software Development Lifecycle •Perform risk analysis and proactively provide testing options and risk mitigation solutions to the business •Proactively facilitate a continuous improvement process to *Test coverage, execution and automation* •Accurately report on quality metrics and testing progress for assigned projects *Specific knowledge, skills and abilities:* •Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience •*Minimum 6 to 8 years demonstrated experience in Software Quality Assurance space* •*At least 5 years experience testing in Data Warehouse, BI Reporting, and ETL is required* •Experience working with *onshore/offshore testing teams* •In depth experience working across multiple development methodologies; proven experience with *Agile or Iterative methodologies is required* •Proven and demonstrable track record of success in fast-paced, challenging IT and business environment •Excellent people management and communication (written and verbal) skills •*Solid experience testing ETL, BI reporting and Databases* •*Highly proficient with SQL* •Experience implementing *Automated Functional as well as Performance Testing in the BI / EDW domain a big plus* Familiarity with* Cognos Business Intelligence software *and* IBM Netezza Data Warehouse appliances a big plus* Thanks Regards *Swami A* Technical Recruiter *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214-541-9378 F: 972-262-9006 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 In my absence please contact Steven at [email protected] (214-541-9081) Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
