The Sr. Software Engineers should have some experience building scalable, cloud based and web applications. *Our client is using the Agile/Scrum methodology and programs in a variety of languages such as Python, C/C++, & Java. * They are building a large scale and high performance cloud based networking service platform that will deliver the next generation of Internet services across private and public networks. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will specialize in building back-end systems and server-side APIs, creating the interconnectivity fabric of the platform and enabling the provisioning of a new and revolutionary class of services to millions of Internet users. *Responsibilities:* •Develop software infrastructure and build back-end systems and APIs •Design and develop low latency/high throughput server infrastructure components to handle large volume of transactions •Be a key member of an elite engineering team that delivers high-performance, reliable software, services and APIs to one of the largest cloud networking infrastructure in the world •Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences. *Qualifications:* *•7-10+ years’ work experience or equivalent programming in one or more of the following: Python, C/C++, Java* *•5+ years’ experience with high-scale, high performance and high availability server development* •Solid understanding of algorithm complexity, parallel/distributed systems, advanced data structures, computer networking and operating systems *•Development expertise in REST/SOAP/JSON API * *•Web programming experience XML/HTML* *•SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL and Cassandra)* •Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies •Proficiency with Python, Django, RabbitMQ a plus •Start-up environment experience •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
