*Location: Bethpage Long Island, NY Duration: 6+ Interview mode: Phone then Skype Our client is seeking a Windows Server Engineer with very strong Active Directory Administration for a contract. *You'll be responsible for making the production systems more reliable by performing day-to-day operations including systems monitoring, troubleshooting, problem identification, resolution, etc. - following established and documented procedures. Additionally, you'll be involved in several planned migrations and consolidations.
* Skills: *. 5+ years Microsoft Windows Server Engineering experience (2008 and 2012) * . 2008/2012 Windows* file server with data transfer migration experience using Robocopy and required parameters . Experience with Server 2008 Client Namespace . Strong Active Directory (2008 or higher) Administration experience (group policy management, schema modifications, security principals, etc.)*. Strong VMware experience (ESXi 5.1 and 5.5)* *. Experience deploying to SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) . Strong experience with Exchange 2010 . Experience automating tasks using PowerShell *. AWS hosted environment migration experience, moving production servers into AWS is a plus . Microsoft Office 365 is strongly preferred . Experience with desktop imaging, file shares, patching and Citrix . *Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting Citrix Xenapp 5.0/6.5, licensing,* web interface components or later is a plus .
