*Specific Skills:* Candidate with hands-on engineering and administration experience in the following areas will be preferred: - Check Point Firewalls NGX R70 and above - Citrix NetScaler Application Firewalls - AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and FireFlow *Standard Job Description:* The Senior Network Security Engineer II will be responsible for designing and implementing network security architecture and infrastructure, respectively, to meet the demand and requirements in securing the enterprise environment; engages in the configuration of network security equipment and applications; develops and maintains automated information technology security monitoring and reporting mechanisms; develops and maintains various network security control systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection/protection systems, remote access, and network account access; performs forensic analysis on system log files, and report breaches including potential solutions; manages security projects; conducts security investigation relative to security breaches; provides 24x7 tier-3 support to Network Operations personnel in troubleshooting and resolving network security matters relative to virus outbreaks; conducts security vulnerability testing and remediation. *Qualifications:* - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification - Between seven and nine years of experience in networking technology, host, data and/or application and hardware security platforms (Check Point Firewall-1, Cisco PIX/ASA, and Juniper JUNOS are preferred, but not limited to) in multiple operating system environments - Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPSec, PKI, VPNs, Firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-lists (ACL) - Experience administrating security systems and policy within a large enterprise or carrier environment. - Ability to perform system administration in support of security forensics and operations - Understanding the big picture of a network security paradigm - Ability to manage project timelines, follow methodologies, and create/present clear, concise deliverables - The candidate with advanced certification(s) (e.g. CISSP, Check Point CCSE/CCSA, and/or Cisco CCNP Security) will be preferred. *Regards, Aabhas Swami IDC TECHNOLOGIES INC Direct: 408-457-9399 Ext 2057 Email: **[email protected]* <[email protected]> * Address: 1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116, Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Associate Programs" group.
