It's just nothing has been caught since I upgraded to 11.0.
Hmmm.. my "show ptr cache" file is empty (I deleted it yesterday ago) and in my dnsbl cache the newest entries I can find are dated jan, 15. And this version is reaaaaaaaaly fast. (also the latest 10.8 was fast. 10.1-10.7 were slooow to me). My guess is that all dns queries just don't work in my setup. But don't expire after a long timeut but immediately. I got plenty of (PTR missing) in my logs, but when I test that hosts via command line, from the same computer (to verify that's not a problem with firewalls etc), I receive a fast answer. So in my setup it's a dns problem. I switched my dns 3 times today (and restarted assp), local or opendns, no difference for me. I'll try to reinstall net::dns, maybe it's corrupted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
