Ok, had a reply all done, then read the linked thread, and now I think I 
understand...

All you are doing is implementing code that will allow ASSP to basically 
act as a content filter instead of a proxy/gateway filter, right?

For clarification - will what you are doing allow ASSP to be integrated 
with amavisd-new, in the same way SpamAssassin is now? That would be 
very valuable, in my opinion. In fact, I recall thinking about this when 
I was first introduced to ASSP a long time ago, but when I found out it 
wouldn't work like that and was designed as a proxy/gateway, I stopped 
thining about it.
