- Both ASSP are running on the same system? If so, configure both to use
only two Worker-Threads (Server-Config)!

- What application is the reason for the very high workload? The
DB-check takes much to long!

- Is there enough memory to run mt-version (for 5 SMTP_workers to run
you'll need minimum 300MB free memory!)?

- What hashes and lists are DB based? 
DB:whitelist/ DB:redlist/ DB:redlist
- Is your database good enough to handle up to 400 concurrent
connections? To check this, export your DB, copy the exported files to
there working location and configure ASSP to use files (not DB)! My
MySQL-DB is well running with 500 MB Cache!!! The whole ASSP-DB should
be fit in to DB-engine-Cache. Are you using InnoDB?
