I have a question about the detection of invalid bounces. If I have a domain with 2 MX-records. The first one points to my mailserver which is running ASSP. The 2nd mailserver is a generic fallback-server (might be protected by ASSP).
This fallback-server can't use the MSGid to see if a bounce is valid or not, so if everything else is more or less valid it will accept the mail. When it sends this mail to the primary server it might notice this is an invalid bounce (BTW The fallbackserver is configured as ISPIP). If it would reject this mail the fallback-server will backscatter. Will it just accept the bounce message from the fallback-server but not pass on? Is the 'send250OKISP' involved with this behaviour?
