I started it with:
sudo /usr/local/bin/perl5.8.8 /Applications/assp/assp.pl
/Applications/assp/
Isn't that the same as cd-ing first and running it with out the path at
the end?
Anyway, will try.

The spamdb file is now empty.
I have 19,967 emails in my spam folder. It looks like it is not
reading them.
