I've been trying to track this issue, but till now I was unable to find out what's causing it; running ASSP 2.0 on Win2k3 (the 1.5 just runs fine on it) whith ActivePerl 5.8.8; ASSP starts fine, running as a service and stays up and running for quite a while, then, suddenly, for no apparent reason it starts logging messages like
19:30:58 [Worker_1] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:30:58 [Worker_1] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:30:58 [Worker_8] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:30:58 [Worker_1] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS [...] 19:31:14 [Worker_1] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:31:14 [Worker_10] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:31:14 [Worker_8] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS 19:31:14 [Worker_1] Error: IO-subsystem error - unable to poll handles on OS and after a number of such a messages ASSP becomes totally deaf not accepting any connection restarting it let it works again, but that's not really an option :) also, apparently the above only happens if the machine is rather "busy" (bunch of connections) since I tried the 2.0 on a "quiet" machine with the same config as the one of the "problem" box and the issue didn't surface I'm wondering if anyone else on this list has already experienced such an issue and if there's a way to solve or at least diagnose it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and Deploy Rich Internet Apps outside the browser with Adobe(R)AIR(TM) software.
