Hi, Thomas. I ran 2.0.0(11.09-te-4-Trevor) for a while, and it seemed OK. No more complete crashes.
I have had a very busy couple of months, so rather than get to the config changes you had suggested, I replaced the above version with 2.0.0(15.03). This causes a large number of timeout problems, including DNS timeouts and connexion timeouts, although I do seem to still be getting mail. It's possible that for some reason I've been denied access to the DNSs that I've been using for several years. I can only think that the reason is over use, and I suppose it's _possible_ that assp overused them. It is a strange coïncidence that I am denied access to these DNSs at the same time as I get other timeout problems.... It was the OpenDNS servers that refused my server's connexions, including pings.... There's no ping timeout on the DNS from other IPs on my subnet, so it's down to the server. Weird. I've changed the server's DNSs, so that lookup now works fine. Connection idle for 60 seconds - timeout The above seems to be unrelated to the DNS timeout probelms, however. I did notice one interesting log entry on startup: Mar-17-09 09:25:22 [init] IO::Poll modul 0.070 installed - please downgrade to version 0.07 :-/ BTW, it should be module, not modul. HTH. I'll change to 15.14 or above to see if this improves anything.
