Not in my case (didn't try with the latest version); as far as I can
tell, unchecking
the SSL option didn't fix the issue and the only real solution was
uninstalling the
IO::Socket::SSL module so that it wasn't loaded at all... and yes,
probably by
renaming the module you may obtain the same result
