> I'm running hMailServer, which has no LDAP implementation. all you need is installing an LDAP server on windows and sync it with the hMailServer accounts, at that point you'll be able to use LDAP from ASSP to validate addresses, otherwise you may just setup ASSP to use VRFY/EXPN so avoiding the need for the flat file and at the same time having the addresses always "in sync" to do so, you'll have to enable the HELP/VRFY/EXPN commands on hMailServer and then configure your local domains list to look this way
