In my test config I set attachment blocking to block and set all to level 1 and entered jpg|jpeg as file extensions. I sent a test file and got this in the log:
[email protected] info: 1 attachment found for Level-1 Apr-29-09 11:49:01 [Attachment] 17.148.16.90 <[email protected]> to: [email protected] [spam found] (bad attachment 'phishing_image_000.jpg') -> /applications/assp/discarded/3677.eml; Apr-29-09 11:49:01 Disconnected: 17.148.16.90 The problem is that the sender never got an error! The mail was gobbled up and "lost" in the discarded folder. I don't believe this is the correct behavior nor the behavior I expected.
