I've tested the previous versions of 0.95 with ASSP to no luck either I experienced memory leakage and/or timeouts/errors but it sounds like the latest version is working ok
I started by upgrading the File::Scan::Clamav module to 1.91 by downloading the latest version of the module (since it isn't yet available for ActivePerl) and using "nmake" to "build" and install it, after letting it run for a while with the ClamD 0.94 and w/o experiencing any issue (and btw the AV was working) I decided to upgrade the AV to version 0.95.1c (I backed up previous version... just in case :D) and I can say the latest version is working ok for me * Environment - ASSP 1.5.1.3 (0.0.0.4) - Windows Server 2003 - Active Perl 5.8.8 build 824 * File::Scan::ClamAV 0.91 http://search.cpan.org/~jamtur/File-Scan-ClamAV-1.9/ * ClamD 0.95.1c http://hideout.ath.cx/clamav/ as a note, I'm using some additional signatures with ClamD, namely I'm using the following ones: rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/junk.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/jurlbl.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/jurlbla.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/lott.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/phish.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/rogue.hdb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/scam.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/spam.ldb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/spamimg.hdb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/spear.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/winnow_malware.hdb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/winnow_malware_links.ndb rsync://rsync.sanesecurity.net/sanesecurity/sanesecurity.ftm rsync://rsync.mirror.msrbl.com/msrbl/MSRBL-Images.hdb rsync://rsync.mirror.msrbl.com/msrbl/MSRBL-SPAM.ndb http://clamav.securiteinfo.com/vx.hdb.gz http://clamav.securiteinfo.com/securiteinfo.hdb.gz http://clamav.securiteinfo.com/honeynet.hdb.gz http://clamav.securiteinfo.com/antispam.ndb.gz http://www.malwarepatrol.net/cgi/submit?action=list_clamav_ext for more informations about such signatures and/or to get a script which will allow to automatically download/update them, please have a look at http://www.sanesecurity.com/ HTH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensing option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ Assp-test mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-test
