Use a database for the hashes and lists. Running the rebuild every hour without databases in background will highly fragment the memory. I recommend using a DB of your choice for the main hashes and lists and BerkeleyDB for Griplist and all internal hashes.
The typical memory usage for your system is 400 to 600 MB.
