For as far back as our logs go (1 month), we see lines at the top of each log file, similar to this:
Nov-10-09 00:00:00 Main_Thread new log file -- old log file renamed to 'logs/09-11-09.maillog.txt' Nov-10-09 00:00:00 Main_Thread new blog file -- old log file renamed to 'logs/09-11-09.bmaillog.txt' error: unable to rename file c:/serversoftware/assp/logs/maillog.txt to c:/serversoftware/assp/logs/09-11-09.maillog.txt - Bad file descriptor The files do seem to get renamed though.
