Hi there,

I am not sure since when this broke, but all I know it probably never ever
worked.
My MTA supports TLS directly and when I connect to it in that manner:

openssl s_client -crlf -starttls smtp -connect mx1.gosi.at:25

It seems to work properly. If I got ASSP in between, running the 1.6.x.x
version by the way, it breaks:

openssl s_client -crlf -starttls smtp -connect localhost:25
CONNECTED(00000003)
didn't found starttls in server response, try anyway...
15656:error:140790E5:SSL routines:SSL23_WRITE:ssl handshake
failure:s23_lib.c:188:

So, I have seen that ASSP supports TLS, but one need to activate that. I wonder
if one can also have some kind of passthrough functionality, since my MTA does
the job already.

Thanks for your help!

Kind regards,
Daniel Urstöger
