I have sslog set to diagnostic and it does indeed write the line: Feb-24-10 08:26:24 STARTTLS skipped in reply, problematic IP: 88.87.zzz.xxx;
But here is the conversation between the problematic host and ASSP: [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 220 mail.mydomain.net ESMTP Postfix [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Send: EHLO www.mydomain.com [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-mail.mydomain.net [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-SIZE 104857600 [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-ETRN [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-AUTH PLAIN LOGIN [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-8BITMIME [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250-STARTTLS [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250 DSN [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Send: STARTTLS [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 502 5.5.1 Error: command not implemented [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Send: RSET [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 250 2.0.0 Ok [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Send: QUIT [24-Feb-2010 08:26:24 +0100]: Recv: 221 2.0.0 Bye So it still offers STARTTLS to the client, even tough it writes in the log that it was skipped. /JM On Wed, 24 Feb 2010 11:18:16 +0100, "Fritz Borgstedt" <[email protected]> wrote: > Please set ssllog to diagnostic. > noTLS produces something like "STARTTLS skipped in reply, problematic > IP: 127.0.0.1" > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Download IntelĀ® Parallel Studio Eval > Try the new software tools for yourself.
