I've compiled 1.32 ! It is available in "assp.mod.zip" on both download locations.
install it on windows with: - unzip - cd to the dir with the ppd and zip files - run >ppm install IO-Socket-SSL.ppd But 1.22 will also work. Thomas Von: K Post <[email protected]> An: ASSP development mailing list <[email protected]> Datum: 28.02.2010 20:59 Betreff: [Assp-test] modules for v2 - win32 I've updated a test server to 2.0.1 1.0.01. win32 I've apparently got a couple outdated modules including IO::Socket::SSL. Info & Stats reports that I have 1.22, but need 1.32. Forgive me, but I'm a newbie to ppm. The activestate ppm says that 1.22 is the most recent. http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/dist/IO-Socket-SSL says that 1.22 is the most recend win32, but that 1.32 is available. In general, is it ok to install the non-win32 versions of packages in a win32 installation of assp? (and if so, what's the preferred way to accomplish this?) Will encrypted SMTP over SSL work with 1.22 of this package installed and not 1.32?
