run from command line:

>perl -e "use Compress::Zlib;"

the output should tell you any other issue.

I updated compress::zlib from the most recent assp.mod (v2 folder).  I
previously had something like 2.002.  The admin interface was
recommending 2.008.  Installing from assp.mod using ppm on win32,
installs 2.012, but now the admin interface reports not installed.
