The module ppd and tar.gz is in assp.mod.zip .

In normal cases all needed components should be installed by mod_inst.pl

Hi Thomas

I'm getting the error below, I have tried installing from cpan to no
avail...what's the trick??...:)

Hi Steve,

yes, Windows 2008 R2 64 is running well with assp.

1. use only Perl 32 Bit installation
2. save the msvcrt71.dll from a W2K3Sp2 server or XPSp3
(C.\windows\system32) and copy it to c:\Perl\bin - this is needed for some
modules in assp.mod 3. every time install both the 32 and the 64 bit variant of
the vcredist??
packages (vc2005 and vc2008 ) - needed for example the BerkeleyDB ppd 5.x

That's all.

My backup MX is running on this for three weeks now (using all assp plugins and
features) - no problems.
Btw.: if you want to compile some Perl modules by your self, do this on a
32 bit system (mingw or ms vc++ 2005/8)

Thomas

Hi all

Before I attempt to do a w2k8r2 64 bit install, has anyone successfully got
ASSP V2 running on the OS?

Thanks
Steve
