Nothing better than this, Peter. The best would be, if the CA is not
needed. I think most of the assp users will not see a crash - but this
highly depends on the setup(used features), own regexes (mostly)...

There are some rules, which will lead it to a high spam detection rate and
less crashes - but I know, not all can follow them for different reasons.

- read the startup log lines and follow the recommendations you get from
there
- if you are hosting multiple domains and they are very different in there
mail volume and/or content - try to handle them on different assp's
- block as early as possible
- block on handshake mistakes and IP's
- use the DNS based features (RWL,RBL,SFP,preDKIM/DKIM)
- if you use Bayesian - try to reduce the usage of large regular
expression. For example, the Bayesian check needs much less system
resouces as blackRe
- try to block as much as possible spam before the body will be sent
- use the penalty box - set it to block
- use LDAP instead of flat files for a large amount of users/addresses
- don't use testmodes or monitoring, if you don't realy need it
- test your own regular expressions in testRe using the GUI-analyzer
before they go in to the 'production' regex
- try to commend out as much as possible lines from the vanilla bomb
regular expression files (language dependend entries for example - and
'got nerver hits')

Hi Thomas,

The latest ASSP 2.0.2_3.2.02 is working well here.

1) Regarding the 'new format' for 'autoupdates' to 'include' the
[changelog.txt] file...

In this case, I note that this asset downloads 'automagically' into
the ASSP folder /docs rather than the original ASSP base dir '/'

I am happy with that, but it might be good to document this
    new behaviour / location?

2) With the 'new' crash analyzer -> /crash_repo

I have not yet had a mail cause a 'crash' to test this 'feature'
However, I do have ASSP's 'Notify' set to alert on such events.
