Hi

On a clean Linux install with ASSP running as a Daemon (as user nobody),
ASSP is unable to read custom report files (in files/ folder) when a request
for a report arrives on the SMTP interface. E.g. a local user sending an
email to assph...@mydomain.com receives a reply email with a blank subject
and custom text defined in files/helpreport.txt is also missing - presumable
because file can't be read.

The mail log strangely records the following error: Couldn't open
'spamreport.txt' for mail report

Strange because it should be opening the helpreport.txt file.

Permissions on files/ folder are correct for nobody:nogroup. The error
occurs even with 0777 applied to all files. This is also happening with
emails to asspwhite, asspspam, asspnotspam, etc.

With emails to asspbl...@mydomain.com, delivery from the local user does not
complete successfully. The error message in the client is:
"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Bad
sequence of commands. Please check the message and try again."

But the blocked report is processed without any error messages in the
maillog and the local user receives a blocked mail report via email. I
haven't been able to verify if the report is correct as it's on a clean
install.

Best regards,

Uther Mahmud
