Perl 5.12.4 is running fine on my systems.
An unexpected SIGALARM should never happen - but it could caused by a
loaded module - if ASSP would sig, we would see it also under Perl 5.10.
How ever, there seems to be a change in Perl after 5.12 which makes
problems with ASSP V2.
Tests with Perl 5.14.1 have shown unexpected exceptions in the
threadhandler and I'm currently searching to find the reason.
Major changes in Perl 5.12 and 5.14 are related to the regular expression
engine - I currently expect the cause there.

If you need a rock stabil V2, you should use Perl 5.10.1 . On Windows,
Active Perl 5.12.4 is running fine the same way.

For Perl 5.14.1 I need some more professional feedback (much more than
runns yes/no).
Most unexpected exceptions in Perl 5.14.1 are happen after a connection
was successfull transfered from the MainThread to a Worker.
With 'ConnectionLog' set to verbose - you can see something like that:

Sep-20-11 07:53:34 [Main_Thread] Info: Main_Thread freed by idle Worker_1
in 0.008 seconds
Sep-20-11 07:53:35 [Worker_1] Connected: 94.158.122.205:7164 >
10.69.5.60:25 > 10.69.5.60:12221 > 10.69.5.95:225 , 24-26

and the Perl process is stopped without any log.

Just for workaround I have installed "Monit" to restart ASSP if it´s dies.
