Sorry Thomas but now I'm really confused

All of my local domain users are whitelisted due to WhitelistAuth, I thought
that was how it was meant to be?

The rebuildspamdb is only looking for the global whitelist entry '
recipient@oneofmydomains' not for any personal '
*,recipient@oneofmydomains' .
The address 'recipient@oneofmydomains' is part of your whitelist - which
should not be the case, if '@oneofmydomains' is a local domain.

If '@oneofmydomains' is a local domain - remove all such entries from your
whitelist.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It is happening a lot where successfully blocked messages are getting
removed from the spam collection due to some random whitelisting

removeDispositionNotification is turned on

User never got the message so can't have inadvertently replied

searching whitelist using *,recipient@oneofmydomains reveals nothing
relevant

RebuildSpamDB log

/usr/share/assp/spam/TSB_BANK_Internet_Banking_Security--1351.eml
WhiteList:
'recipient@oneofmydomains'
