Sorry... I know that's a common issue, but it's not that easy in this 
case. That's the default greeting/banner text upon connection for the 
Exim MTA:

220-server.domain.com ESMTP Exim 4.69 #1 Thu, 10 Nov 2011 04:08:21 -0800

220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,

220 and/or bulk e-mail.


I actually had a thought though, when looking at this... I wonder if the 
comma in the greeting isn't being escaped or encoded when ASSP processes 
it and so it is screwing up the smtp conversation from ASSP's point of view.
I'll change the greeting to test and see if that's the case.
