There are 10 workers running. I will reduce it down to 5.

connect_timeout is set to 10 seconds. Should I increase this variable upto 300?

depending on your config this could be much too less.

The MySQL server should never drop inactive assp connections before 5 minutes.

Betreff: [Assp-test] Exception: MySQL server has gone away

Hello,

once a day assp stops working. The debug information shows the following
Exception: "MySQL server has gone away".
This Exception will loop for an internal mail client delivering mails from
inside our org till I restart assp.
Ist possible to established a connection to the mysql server without a problem
at the same time.
->Client tries to deliver several times, assp throws Exceptions, connect
to
mysql is possible between exception and restart At the same time assp does not
answer with plaintext promt at port 25.
Connect is possible, there is a cursor, but there is no promt to write
something down at windows cmd telnet. I've got to restart assp to get back the
connection to mysql (max_connections=250)

I think this is a assp issue.
