To add an address to 'noprocessing' using the GUI:

- the GUI user must have permission to use 'noprocessing'
- the address must not match any addess definition in 'noprocessing' - for
example the complete domain is already in NP
- 'noprocessing' must be defined using the 'file:...' option
- the address to add must be not a local address

To remove:

- the GUI user must have permission to use 'noprocessing'
- the exact complete address must be in 'noprocessing' - you cannot remove
a single address , if the complete domain is in NP
- 'noprocessing' must be defined using the 'file:...' option
- the address to add must be not a local address

added

Sorry Thomas

Perl version: v5.10.1
assp version: 2.1.2(11331)
OS:CentOS-6 X64

Problem seems quite random, working with addresses by clicking on maillog
tail and using 'add/remove addresses from lists' gui.

Isn't specific to latest build, been battling with it for some time.

Likely not a bug but error between keyboard and chair.

Just looking for some pointers to understand some of the reasons it might
not work as expected (other than the address being already listed)

Cheers............Bob

GUI what action - what output (reaction):

Your question is like ' why is it cold in my living room? tell me all
possible reasons!'. -> winter?, heater on?, windows opened? .....

The most possible reason is - it is already in noprocessing list.

Can somebody please explain all the reasons why an address would not be
added to noprocessing when requested via gui?

This is driving me nuts

Thanks....Bob
