The log shows, that your browser has done a POST request !? and sent data
to ASSP.
It is a very ... very bad idea to do an upgrade with an opened browser.
The browser will contain the OLD version GUI data. The new ASSP version
expects its (own, new, changed ....) known GUI data.

I copied assp.pl build 11355 on to the system. Then used the ASSP
Shutdown/Restart to restart ASSP. That particular system is a little
slow shutting down and starting up, so the 90 second page refresh timed
out before the system was ready.
At this point, I believe the processor was still running about 50% CPU
usage, so had not gone idle after startup.
I clicked on the Main link in the left column. I got a pop up about
about an error condition. I checked the log file and found that ASSP had
reset all my config variables to default values.
Via service control panel, I stopped ASSP and restored assp.cfg from a
backup and restarted ASSP. I waited until processor usage dropped to
idle after start up and everything was fine.
I then repeated Shutdown/Restart and was able to duplicate. This time, I
got 10 or 15 pop ups. I believe I caught it earlier in the process.
The log file of one instance indicates that ASSP was accepting and
processing messages.
