I guess I must have something wrong as I don't have that line in the log file. Do I need to have a local socket file and a port number to listen on, I say that because when I look at the status of the perl modules in the GUI it says it can't find /var/run/clamav/clamd.ct so I got the clamd scanner to store that file also.
I reckon I haven't got the scanner working correctly, will play with the configuration file now I know I should see a scanned log line as you have shown Doug.
