If both network interfaces are in the same IP subnet - windows makes the
decision, which interface is used for outgoing traffic - in normal cases
it would be the first one listed in the extended network configuration.

assp 1.9.2.9(1), w2k server v5.0 2195sp4, SLmail v5.5.0.4433. IBM
xSeries335, 2 network cards.
I have set my firewall device to direct http traffic to 1 IP on server and
smtp and pop traffic to the 2nd IP however I cant seem to force outgoing
smtp traffic on server to use only 2nd IP.. is this a ASSP setting? or MTA
setting?
