going on ?
At least, I think I've found a way to prevent those warnings.

So far I have only found one mail with these errors in the header.

The mail contained a PDF, I can mail you the complete mail, like it was
stored in my mailrelay after ASSP has it processed.

1. these warnings could be only seen at the console - they are written by
the core modules to STDERR
2. these warnings could be ignored - the malformed UTF-8 words are ignored
by the Bayes and HMM check
3. the reason for these warnings are malformed UTF-8 characters in the
message body
4. these warning could be seen in all version after build 12032, if there
are wrong encodings in a mail
I'll try to prevent those warnings - but I think that this is not 100%
possible.
