If you use V2 :

Find out the IP(s) from where the @verizonwireless.com sends mails (I mean
the correct company).
Set (or add) 'SPFoverride' to:

verizonwireless.com=>v=spf1 ip4:the_ip_of_verizonwireless.com/32
ip4:the_next_ip_of_verizonwireless.com/32 -all

you may also define an IP subnet ip4:...../24 or if the sending IP's are
equal to the IP's listed in the MX or PTR records of verizonwireless.com,
you can define mx and/or ptr instead of the IP's

verizonwireless.com=>v=spf1 mx/32 ptr/32 -all

In V1 you can define the same record(s) but (IMHO) you must disable 'SPF2'
to force assp to use the SPFv1 module.

Keep in mind that this setting will override the SPF record for this
domain in every case - also if they will define a SPF record in future!

Betreff: [Assp-test] How to block certain emails?

My company has received several emails from @verizonwireless.com (but
they're not really from there). Normally, I would block them via
SPFstrict. However, @verizonwireless.com does not have a valid SPF
record. I'm having brain block right now. Any idea how I would block
emails claiming to be from there, but not ones that actually are from
there? The emails come from several different IP's, so just blocking
the IP's wouldn't be of any real benefit.

Thanks,
Brett
