I've been having this problem for a long time, and continue to have
it today, however mine is with the spam reporting address only, it
seems. It doesn't always kill a worker, about 1 out of 10 messages it
seems causes it to happen - but if a message that causes the worker
to die is re-sent, it will kill a worker every time (i.e. it is
consistent based on the message content). The problem I have is that
the mail client will continue to retry sending the message that kills
workers, eventually killing off all workers until my monitoring
script steps in and restarts ASSP.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with content of spamdb, because if I
truncate that table, the problem goes away...until it comes back
again a week or two later.
